Registration and passwords

Get digital access to help keep your information and finances secure on usaa.com and the USAA Mobile App.

What you need to register for digital access

USAA Number

Find it on your blue plastic USAA card and on most USAA statements and bills.

Phone Number

Use the phone number that’s in your profile to enroll for digital access.

Social Security or Tax ID

Make sure you provide the number associated with your own USAA number.

What you create when you register

Online ID

This is a custom username that lets you log on without revealing personal information.

Password

This is a custom string of letters and numbers you use to log on for digital access.

PIN

This is a custom personal identification number. Use it to log on and also to verify your identity if you need to call us. It might not be the same PIN you use for your credit or debit card.

Forgot your Online ID, password or PIN?

Here’s how you can recover or reset them. You’ll need to provide a phone number or email that’s on your profile and enabled as a recovery option.

Online ID

Select "I need help logging on" on the logon page, then select "Recover My Online ID.”

Password

Select "I need help logging on" on the logon page, then select "Reset My Password.”

PIN

When prompted to enter your PIN, select "Forgot PIN.”
