SMS Terms and Conditions

We use multiple SMS text short codes to send you general messages about your account. We send them periodically through several mobile carriers.

If you need help with messaging, reply “HELP.” To cancel it, text “STOP” to the short code from the following list. You'll receive a confirmation message after you've unsubscribed from that code.

To start receiving texts from us again:

  1. Reply “START” to the relevant short code to reinstate your phone number.
  2. Log on to usaa.com and turn on texts under Delivery Settings.
  3. If you prefer to use the USAA Mobile App, log on and it's under your profile settings.

When you ask us for informational messages, we'll send them as often as you want. We'll continue to send SMS texts if we notice suspicious activity on your accounts.
