USAA is here to help you through your property claim. Here's what may come next.
- Your adjuster may reach out to you for additional information.
- Your adjuster may send someone to inspect the damage to your property.
In the meantime, here are steps you should take.
- Protect your property or take action to prevent additional damage to your property.
- Take photos of the damage before the cleanup, repair or replacement.
- Make a list of personal belongings that were damaged or stolen, and include the age, make, model and purchase price.
- Save receipts of expenses incurred due to damage to your property.
- Keep any defective products or parts that may have caused the damage, such as appliances, plumbing parts or electronic equipment.

- Send messages, photos and documents at anytime through usaa.com or our mobile app.
- Send information to USAA through your claim-specific email or the Claims Center. Simply reply to this email with your photos or receipts. If you're using your own contractors or inspector, they can also use this email.
