Overview
Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell your personal information and are committed to keeping your information secure. In addition to the USAA Privacy Promise, available at usaa.com/privacy, this SafePilot DriveSafe Policy (“Policy”) explains how United Services Automobile Association and its family of property and casualty insurance companies with the USAA name, including Garrison Property and Casualty Insurance Company (collectively, "we" or "us") collect, use, and disclose personal information relating to users of our USAA SafePilot and USAA SafePilot Miles™ safe driving programs.
One of the purposes of developing the USAA safe driving programs is to assist USAA members in understanding how to become safer drivers. The USAA DriveSafe mobile application ("USAA DriveSafe") was created as part of the programs to instruct, incentivize, and inspire safer driving. The USAA safe driving programs also serve to potentially save USAA members money by measuring driving behavior and providing feedback to improve driving patterns through USAA DriveSafe.
Participation in USAA SafePilot and USAA SafePilot Miles is voluntary and you may cancel your participation at any time. Please note that if you decide to cancel, you will lose the associated discount on your USAA auto policy. To participate in USAA SafePilot or USAA SafePilot Miles, you must be eligible for USAA Property and Casualty insurance. Additionally, in order to sign up for USAA SafePilot or USAA SafePilot Miles, you must also be a named insured or spouse on the USAA auto policy.
