Damage Liability Coverage
Loss Damage Coverage Benefits
USAA members are only responsible for the first $5,000 of damage to a rental vehicle. However, if a Loss Damage Waiver is purchased, members are not financially responsible for the claim amount or the $5,000 deductible.
Primary Liability
This option is included in your rental and gives you coverage for bodily injury and property damage up to the limits established by the rental company.
Loss of Use Coverage Benefits
If your rental gets damaged and has to be taken out of service, the rental company won't charge you a fee for not being able to rent the vehicle.
