Claims Electronic Document Delivery Terms and Conditions

Acceptance

Your acceptance applies to this claim only.

These terms and conditions apply to your agreement to receive communications electronically. By continuing to receive and send communications electronically, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions and any revisions to them.




Definitions

These are the definitions used in this agreement.

"USAA" means USAA group of property and casualty insurance companies. The "Agreement" means the terms and conditions applicable to your consent to receive Communications electronically for this claim. "Communications" means messages, information, and documents involving your claim with USAA delivered electronically via your email address that you have provided to USAA and/or by postings on usaa.com.

Conditions

This section provides the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Agreement: You agree to receive Communications electronically. You may withdraw your consent by contacting us at 1-800-531-USAA(8722).

Access: You agree that you can access and print or store Communications and that you have viewed, downloaded, or printed this Agreement for your records.

Paper copy: USAA will not be obligated to provide Communications to you in paper form unless you specifically request us to do so. You may obtain a paper copy of Communications at no cost by contacting us at 1-800-531-USAA(8722).

Your Information: You must provide USAA with true, accurate and complete contact information, including your email, and update promptly any changes. USAA shall treat your provision of an invalid email address or any subsequent problems of delivery to a previously valid email address as a withdrawal of your consent to receive Communications electronically.

Equipment: To view and retain Communications, you must have a device with a working connection to the Internet and a printer or hard drive with sufficient electronic storage capacity. You may save or print a copy of Communications and retain it for your records.

Confidentiality and Security: USAA cannot guarantee the confidentiality and security of any information sent by email. USAA discourages sending private information such as financial or medical information by email. You agree that USAA shall not be liable for the breach of information that may result from the use of email.

Undeliverable communications: If any Communications sent to you are returned as undeliverable, we may attempt to contact you by telephone or otherwise; however, all Communications are deemed to be in writing, delivered and received no later than three (3) days after posting or dissemination, whether or not you have received or opened the communication.

Discontinuance: USAA may, at our discretion, discontinue sending Communications electronically or revise this Agreement. A notice of any such discontinuance or revisions will be sent to you as required by law.
