Operating efficiently

We have over 8 million square feet of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, certified office space and several ENERGY STAR® certified facilities. We’ve also installed over one million square feet of reflective cooling roofs to reduce energy use.

Many of our facilities have earned the WELL Health-Safety seal and Fitwel certifications for health and wellness.

Putting conservation to work

Being sustainable makes our communities better places to live. We do that by being good stewards of our shared environment.

Reducing water use

Over the last two decades, we’ve significantly reduced our water consumption. Today, over half the water we use is recycled. In San Antonio alone, that saves over 130 million gallons of freshwater a year.

Increasing recycling

Last year we recycled over 2 million pounds of materials, including paper, plastic, e-waste and furniture. Overall, we kept more than half of our waste materials out of local landfills.

Caring for our climate

To ensure we serve you wherever and however you need us, we have been a digital industry leader, freeing us from brick-and-mortar physical branches and offices. This means we use less energy and produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
